The Business Associate Agreement is automatically included with Growth and Enterprise plans. We sign as a HIPAA business associate and cover all processing, storage, and transmission of protected health information (PHI). Starter plan users can request a BAA add-on — contact us and we'll get it to you within one business day.
Growth plans start with a 14-day free trial — no credit card required. You get full access to the Growth feature set. At day 14, you can enter payment details to continue, or the account pauses (no charge). Data is retained for 30 days after the trial ends.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle — you keep full access until then.
A team member is anyone who has an active login to your Kinetic workspace. Providers, billing staff, office managers, and admins all count the same. If a provider only accesses the system once a quarter for credential updates, they still count as one seat. Contact us if you're close to your limit — we don't auto-charge for overages.

You can export all your data as a CSV or JSON download at any time from Settings → Export. After cancellation, we retain your data for 90 days in case you change your mind, then permanently delete it from our servers. Backup exports are retained for 30 days.
Payments are processed by Stripe — PCI DSS Level 1 certified, the highest security certification in the payments industry. Kinetic never stores your credit card number directly. All payment data stays with Stripe; we only store a tokenized reference for billing purposes.
